I'll try to pick on everyone a little bit. I just don't want to see the channels die. But that's just one option, more likely what would happen is that the members "retire" one by one, and other people are added to take their place, and the number of people in the Yogscast will stay constant that way. In my opinion, I think that they should plan ahead for that, and introduce somebody into their BlueXephos channel, someone younger/new, who can start as a minor guest on the channel and then eventually make their own original content, letting Simon and Lewis take a break. What will happen when they don't want to make any more videos? I, for one, don't want their youtubing to turn into a chore. Simon and Lewis, as the founders of the original Youtube channel, are the senior members of the group, and it seems to me that they are beginning to get (slightly) frustrated with the pressures of a fan base. Right now, I think they're all relatively young (by that I mean I'm fairly sure none of them are near 40).
I have wondered before about the future of the Yogs team. More people originally was good cause it meant more videos per week, but now they seem a little more fragmented, maybe because of how big the group is and the range of games they're playing. Their videos should be them having fun, even if it means fewer videos a week. I agree! I also don't want them to force themselves to make videos just because people want them to.
